MinBudget takes your trust and privacy seriously. This policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

MinBudget ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy. We are a Swedish company offering personal financial coaching and budgeting tools.

- Account data: email address, password (encrypted), display name
- Financial data: expenses, income, debts, savings goals, and budgets you enter or import via bank connection

We process your data to deliver the service (contract), prepare invoices (contract), improve the service (legitimate interest), and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for marketing without your consent. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing. We may use subcontractors (e.g. cloud storage, email) who process data on our behalf under agreements ensuring GDPR compliance.

We retain your data for as long as the account is active plus a period for legal requirements (e.g. accounting). You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

We use necessary cookies for the service to function (e.g. login). We do not use marketing cookies or third-party tracking without your consent.
You can manage cookie settings via our cookie banner. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect core functionality.

We may update this policy. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the service.
We encourage you to review the policy regularly.
9. Children
MinBudget is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you discover that a child has provided data to us, please contact us and we will remove it.
If you are under 18, you need parental consent to use the service.
